Phi as Inspiration and Guideline
Phi, also known as the golden ratio or divine proportion, represents an ideal balance and harmony, found in nature, art, and architecture.
For some it merely is a mathematical curiosity. I like the mystical and aesthetic significance of it as well as the artists known to draw inspiration from phi in their work, like Da Vinci, Pacioli and Le Corbusier.
I apply phi when making grids and lay-outs, to create appealing and balanced designs
